Eastside Therapy

I provide an opportunity for a person to move towards living in a more satisfying and resourceful way.

We work together in a quiet, safe environment where all information given to me is kept confidential.

People may seek psychotherapy or counselling for a variety of reasons. I will list a few examples of these;

  • exploring choices
  • loss of direction
  • life crisis
  • low self esteem
  • panic attacks
  • career choice or difficulty
  • anger and conflict management
  • communication difficulties e.g. with peers, partners, children,
  • bereavement
  • relationship problems
  • sexual issues

I have graduated from Spectrum, a training centre for Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy. Spectrum is a member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). I am in an ongoing supervision group at this centre and this helps me in my work with clients. All information discussed in the group is confidential. I will talk about this with you.

I am a member of BACP, British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I am a medical practitioner and in my work as a psychotherapist / counsellor I am happy to discuss medical issues if necessary but I do not diagnose or prescribe medication.

I am the work counsellor for News International Newspapers Ltd., Wapping

I am also an artist and am fascinated by the overlap of ideas I have as an artist and a therapist. I am occasionally involved in running psychotherapy workshops that use my artwork as a starting point of discussion.
